I read it completely differently than you did I guess.

They presented the arguments of both sides. What false numbers did they quote?

That is a statement, I asked about numbers.

As far as the statement goes, it might. If you essentially ban ammo it will statistically limit the amount of people that have ready access to it.

A metaphor would be if the state raised the minimum driving age to 21 it would limit the amount of people that are able to drive and would in turn possibly limit the amount of accidents.

Not saying I agree with 962 in any way, I just didn't read the article the same way you did and want to know what they falsified.

Crime will remain the same. There are other methods of killing besides using guns. Plus, criminals will always have guns and ammo, regardless of what laws are passed. All it does is make good people not want to buy ammunition, thereby eliminating their best use of self-defense tools.

Just got today's (1/14/11) San Diego Union-Tribune. The article is on the front page. It's a fairly well-written article, doesn't come off as TOO anti, but there are definitely too many de Leon quotes. I can't believe that guy is smart enough to remember to breath..

La Mesa Collectables in Santee is offering reloading classes on Saturdays. Must RSVP for this class. Maybe it's time to start.

Do you happen to know the price of the class off-hand? If it's within the budget I might have to go for it as well.

I am going there Sat. morning to pick up powder and primers. I will find out the price. I don't think it's very much at all.
