That things looks sexy and terrifying. I imagine an enemy force walking through a forrest and then all of the sudden they find they're in the kill zone of a line of turrets.

Reminds me of the sentry guns from Aliens. The scenes featuring those guns were cut out of the theatrical release but was replaced in the extended cut version of the movie.
I thought it was a great way to show the sheer number of aliens that were coming after the Colonial Marines. Hundreds upon hundreds were being mowed down and kept coming.Bill D. CatComment

set on auto it could be easily defeated. with some loss of life but it can only hold so much ammo. when empty just walk up, and do what ever you want to it.
but yes set a number just under the ridge line and any force walking through the valley is a goner.
