Michael Keaton wrote a little article about enjoying bird hunting over pointers in one of the recent Filson catalogs. i don't know how pro gun he is but he at least he let it be known he owns guns and hunts them. Thats cool in my book.

I dunno man. Most of those "gentleman" bird hunters/trap shooters are no friend of gun rights.

Thats true,thats how some of the gun owners are in england.they see it as a sport and only a sport and if you own any other firearms that aren't designed for that purpose then they don't like it.

I understand and I'll agree on what you guys say, but if you reread my post I did state I'm not sure how pro gun he is...

I'll say this, he made it public that he enjoys guns and killing animals with them. Think about it he could have remain silent afterall he is in an industry that hates both. He could have kept his mouth shut and no one would be the wiser. I'm sure he will get some backlash from it. That is all I'm saying. To me thats cool that he let it be known he particpates in such actitives not that he's some super pro 2A advocate.

You know when I come to think of it I have alot of gentlemen shooters/hunters as friends and all of them are shooters and very pro 2A. They all have black guns and pistols. They all believe in self defense and defending the constitution. I think you need to give them alittle more credit. Are all gentlemen shooters like that, certainly no. Again I get your point but don't think just cause they shoot civilized guns they ain't for the cause.
