I finally understand the reason for a 10-day waiting period

It's a conspiracy driven by the aftermarket accessory industry. Anyone else do this? Between about day 3 and 9, I'm get so antsy that all I do is surf the net buying whatever accessories, upgrades, and add-ons I can find for my soon-to-be new gun. If we didn't have to wait 10 days I wouldn't half as much - but something must fill the time.

Tell me about it. You know whats worse though, waiting to wait. The gun shop I go to has a draco I want. I submit initial paperwork, they tell me DOJ has lost some of their liscensing paperwork, have to wait before they can do dros. Easy fix they say. sooo, that was on the 30th of december. I havent even started the 10 day wait yet! Ugh,

In the meantime, I've spent enough money on accesories/rails/ etc that I couldve spent the money to buy another draco heheh.

I hear ya! I'm at day 3 waiting for my "evil black rifle". Can't wait till next Tues. Been surfing the net for any accessories for it already. Going to the gun show at the Cow Palace Saturday to see what I can buy.

                    I'm at this point too.

I want to order a Garand from CMP. Waiting for some sort of confirmation of CRPA membership for my Club Affiliation Requirement. Don't know how long its going to take.

Then after that I get to snail-mail my order and wait for CMP confirmation email.

Then I get to wait for the rifle.

It's gonna be a while for me.
