Does anyone have family members that are anti-2nd Amendmant and have a problem with you legally open carrying or concealed carrying at home?

Are you sure its actual anti-2a, Suggest they take some kind of Gun Safety Course, it might ease their mind. from there it would depend on exactly whose home it is, if its theirs, their rights prevail. if its a husband/wife thing, I'm just not gonna get in the middle of that one.

I have a habit of hiding and locking away everything when the antis are around. They'll be more likely to shoot themselves to "prove a point" than me having a ND in their direction.

There are no Anti gun people when their looking at a 10 inch blade and the prospect of it coming down on their neck. My son carries around the house, I don't. I have one handy though. When I see him with the gun on his side, I do feel more secure. My son 26 so I am not suggesting anyone arm their 9 year old.

My wife hates guns, so I have to conceal carry in the house when she is home if I am carrying (which is not very often).

I carry at home or at least have it within reach.

We live in a former condo owned by gangmembers, so there's always the risk of their rivals coming back to pay a visit.

I carry concealed at home and when I visit my parents. It's mainly an "out of sight, out of mind" kind of thing because a couple roommates wet their knickers when a gun is loaded (unless it's at the shooting range when I take them there .) And I carry concealed at home because my mom is afraid that guns spontaneously jump out of holsters and shoot everybody in the room.

I kind of like carrying concealed at home though, it gives me good practice for when I get my ccw and it's nice knowing that I have the means to stop a home invasion whenever one can happen.

I still get snide comments every now and then from friends and family. I mostly carry concealed so the only time they ever see it is if I take it out of my pocket to leave the house.

But their comments don't bother me. I know who they would run to if some thug charged in through the front door....

Wow. I thought those picture frame safes at key locations in the house would suffice. That's got to be a pain to always have a gun on your person, even at home. That would make your entire life minus sleep, shower, (sex?) stuck to a gun....

I only CCW when there is a large party of unknowns in the house. I hosted several graduation parties for my daughter. No one but my wife knew I was armed. Other then that time, most of the time there is a loaded gun somewhere near me in plain sight. If I am drinking I lock it up.

I'm not seeing any negatives. .

But seriously, my GLOCK 27 is extremely comfortable to carry IWB, and when I get a better holster it will be even more comfortable.

Oh, and you can take sleep off your list. Peanut Butter sleeps in the bed with me. And yes, I named my GLOCK Peanut Butter.
