    Cleaning Patches?

I am about to show my age here, but I am tired of the thin, useless patches one regularly finds to clean firearms...What happened to the quality cotton patches I used to use in the military back in the late 70's?

... it must be the brand that you are using because i still use the thick ones for my pistols. I got them from cheaper than dirt.

Second for Otis patches, or you can cut up some of your old T-shirts.

I have no problem with the Hopes patches. Been using those for years. Wouldnt the cotten ones leave lint behind?

Old T shirts work just fine for me.
