    I remember simpler times.

What I wouldn't give to go back to this time in my life where I didn't have to worry about OLL this or fixed magazine that. When I was 5, I just had what I wanted. Scooters were plentiful, you didn't have to wear a helmet, and people under age could ride about the state with black rifles over their shoulders.

Yes, those were the good old days.

Touches my California-boy heart. Would you believe I used to shoot squirrels near a red rock quarry around Los Altos with my .22LR in the mid-1950's. Never had a problem. Now I'm in Alices's Wonderland, awaiting anxiety attacks when our esteemed legislators with advanced degrees from Eastern Institutions of Lower Living craft more firearms law, just for us.

Wes -- fix that registration tag, heck, change the plates to the old blue and gold, and you just might sell a few autographed copies of that picture :-)

Your right. 30+ years ago that was me, on a bike with a 10/22 over my shoulder riding through the neighborhood heading to a place to shoot. Never had a problem - except for the smart @33 girl on a horse. I don't think I'll let my boy try this now
