    Rifle Purchase

    Hi all,

I'm wanting to purchase an AR15 from riflegear.com. However, the payment method is going to be my wife's credit card. Do any of you know what the procedure would be to complete the transaction? Does the rifle need to be registered under the wifey and then transferred to me? I couldn't find anything that would answer this via the forum search.

Thanks in advance for your input!

You both can go down, she pay's with her cc and you fill out the paperwork in your name. There shouldn't be a problem with that as long as you are both 18 & legally able to possess a firearm

Rifles aren't registered anyway and since you're married it's perfectly legal for one to gift it to the other, as long as neither is prohibited. The folks at riflegear are friendly and seem to be on the ball so I can't imagine it would be an issue.
