Wow, don't think I ever saw this thread! Great idea chopr!

      First, humble opinions:

Can we seperate "History/American History" into it's own category?
Suggest move "AK-47 The Grim Reaper, Frank Iannamico" from "9. Fiction... > 2. Gunsmithing (It's more of a reference book). Also this same book has a 2nd edition available here: AK-47, The Grim Reaper (AK-47 The Grim Reaper 2nd Edition, Frank Iannamico

      Recomendations:

The Constitution of the United States, We the People

1776, David McCullough (Everything by McCullough really)

HELLO! Calguns very own nicoroshi has a AK gunsmithing kindle book.
Build Your Own AK (Vol. I): Headspacing & Virgin Barrel Population [Kindle Edition], Guy Montag, Nicoroshi > 2. Gunsmithing

State of Chaos (Collapse Series), Summer Lane (Saw this recommended by the Authors boyfriend, who is an Appleseed Instructor) > 9. Fiction (SHTF)

One last cool bit for now:
Check out LibraryThing! It's a pretty awesome personal cataloging site... actually now that I think about it, we should start a CGN group on there.

      From the site's about page:

      What does it cost?
A free account allows you to catalog up to 200 books. A paid account allows you to catalog any number of books. Paid personal accounts cost $10 for a year or $25 for a lifetime. (See here for organizational accounts.) I conservatively predict the revenue will enable me to recline all day on an enormous pile of gold.
Stand up and be counted, or lay down and be mounted... -Mac

" Bullies" written by talk show host and genius Ben Shapiro has information contained that will make understanding how bullies in govt and their symbiotic media allies operate !

Shapiro has a book full of truths, myths and general information .

Local Los Angeles radio features Ben Shapiro daily 6-9 am on Kiev 870 . I believe the show called " the answer" is also on I heart radio .

Warning if you were unable to read Molon Labe or any of the other modern books on liberty or the gun culture. This book is probably not for you !

Although not exactly related to issues of RKBA. The book Columbine explores the motives of these 2 murderous psychos .

Author Dave Cullen got lots easy stuff ( Brady Bill ) almost entirely wrong, he further left a negative impression of the NRA and the GOP, both who realise that gun restrictions do not prevent murder !

The biggest omission in my opinion was the speech before congress by Darrel Scott father of Rachel Scott who was brutally murdered April 20 1999 .

I would suggest literate Calgunners save your time and money by skipping" Columbine "

            Great idea!

"The Mi Garand Rifle" by Bruce Canfield is an absolute must add to the history section. It has very quickly and justifiably established itself as the resource for everything Garand.

I'll add in a very loud & vehement SECOND to this.

Kurt is one of my all-time favorite current pundits / patriots.

I haven't yet read his books, but really want to.

                      For my contribution, I'll add
                      Unintended Consequences
                      by John Ross.

I won't post a link since I'm not 100% sure it's OK, but the book has sadly been out of print for a long time & hard copies are hard to find.

It is very easy to find PDF copies of it online - just search the title + author.

U.C. should be the top of the list, IMO.....

Lots of great material on here! I only noticed 1 on marksmanship for long distance. I was hoping someone may have some insight on a book for beginners on marksmanship and/or optics.

Motion to replace the listed World War Two German mechanized books (lol, seriously?) with something/someone more practical like Massad Ayoob, Rory Miller, Kevin Davis (i.e. Citizen's Guide to Self Defense), hell, even Grossman's On Killing if you balance his SLA Marshall references.
