I thought I'd drop a quick note about Parallax Tactical in San Diego. I spent the early part of new years day doing a private party transfer here. Although my office is literally 30 seconds from this place I never needed to stop by for anything. What a mistake! This place is brimming with all the goodies! I was surprised by the amount of product in this place. They had everything you could ask for in a local gun shop. The employees were nice and the transfer was painless. In addition, the owner made sure that everyone was taken care of. Overall, it was a great experience! Happy new years CGN members!

Parallax are good people to deal with, prices close to any internet pricing, and they treat their customers like.......customers. Imagine that. Most gun store commandos try and belittle their customers. I choose to spend my money at Parallax. Good place to do business with!

I was in there yesterday. Small size shop but they manage to cram a bunch of gear in there. The guy helping me out was very friendly. They had almost everything I came to purchase. Will definitely return.

I was there too, around 5pm picking up my Ruger from jail. Even though they are known as a mainly EBR shop, they have pretty good prices on handguns as well.

Yeah!! The other day I called about transfer fees for a S&W M&P. Too my surprise the lady told me they had a 9 and 40 in stock. Both at 489!! I went there yesterday to purchase it but they had sold it. He said they'd get another one in in a couple weeks.

But yes, prices are good.

That's in the same neighborhood as a Bud's online price if you factor in the 'free' shipping.

The _only_ downside to Parallax is that their layaway/financing isn't quite as flexible as other shops, but they definitely have the best prices. Bud's has 6-12 0% financing with their GE Sport Card

I agree with everybody on here. I only own a Glock 19 and was interested in building an AR15. My buddies told me about this place and since it was literally less than a minute from where I work I went here.

I'm glad I didn't purchase a complete rifle from riflegear.com. I talked with Joe and Anthony and I didn't feel belittled like I always did when I went to Turners (I'm sorry, I'm asking you questions because I don't know, not because I'm stupid).

Anyway, just bought my Spikes Tactical punisher lower receiver from them yesterday and really glad that I went here. Hopefully going to have a complete AR in the next couple of weeks. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting all I need from these guys.
