im kind of eeh eeh on him. I like some things, hate other things. I like some of his videos, some others im like WTF?!??!...

I will give him credit for this...after watching his 3 part review on the mini 14 and the run n gun, it swayed me to want to buy it a lot more... definitely helped me a lot on deciding. good info.

But yea he his a bit of a mall ninja as others have said above, his run n guns do look fun though.

I kinda get the vibe that hes a wanna be grunt...eeh...

All the GET TACTICAL!!! TACTICAL!!! OMG gotta get TACTICAL bro... kinda gets annoying...

he is entertaining at times too, like that one run n gun with the fat guy in the tacti-KILT... LOL /facepalm

im 50/50 ish on him... I tend watch IraqVeteran8888 a lot more cuz im a reloader and I like the whole gunsmithing deal...

Also you'll notice his cheap holster has buckles dangling around it when it's open, which could get in the way when he goes to holster it. Bottom line, I think that safety rule #2 (muzzle in a safe direction) is critically important and I don't think that makes me a safety nazi.

Anyways, whatever. To each his own.

    All in good fun.
I was yankin your chain about his hall monitor reference in the video hence the smilie.

I like some of his videos. Yeah he is long winded and has a funny lip thing going on when he talks but thats his thing. When I buy something I tend to research all angles and opinions before I buy it. I dont value the gun editors opinions that much anymore now that we have blogs and youtube filled with real world opinions. I value a regular guys field experience with things more so than an editor that has corporate sponsors to satisfy. I watch what I like and I click past what I dont like.

On that note I never understood why Nutnfancy sometimes does reviews on guns he doesnt own and never shot? I saw a few where he seemed to have a borrowed gun that he never even shot yet was making a 30 minute video review on it?

As mentioned he is just one of thousands so I take it with a grain of salt.

I like him, he's a fine ambassador for 2nd amendment rights.
He encourages everyone to research/learn and challenges the hard left by being a stand up guy and a gun enthusiast. What's not to like?

I like NutnFancy because he combines info with entertainment. It's kinda like watching UK Topgear instead of Motor Trend. Sure, I can watch an Edmund's video review on cars and get all the basic car info I needed when shopping for a particular car, but then watching Topgear would be more entertaining to see what they do with that car.

Check out his video where he defends his practice of wearing a chest mounted pistol pointing directly to the left.

He's also done contest where he's given away guns(!) and gear to viewers, how rad haha.

I found Nutn by searching for reviews on the Ruger SR-556 since it was the first AR I've ever seen. He gives out a lot of info and I enjoy that, helps that he goes into detail about expensive investments, know what I mean? LOVE his backpacking videos with his family and/or friends, inspires me to get out there and off the laptop hehe. Also looked into a rifle that ended up being my first firearm thanks to him Most recently I watched a review of his on some tactical loadout thing that I'd never get but enjoyed the vid anyways. I won't take one person's opinion and blindly go on that but thanks Mr. Nutnfancy for the help. I also love watching Hickok & Brandon's videos too.

Oh and I'm glad he made this vid, what a nice guy!

I find his reviews really entertaining and informative. Nutnfancy doesn't just praise an item and read the item description from the website like many other people. He reviews them with his own points of views and brings out many different aspects of an item that I just don't see in anyone else's reviews. Do I agree with him a 100%? No, but he gives me a better idea of what I'm preparing to buy. Anyhoos, he's free to watch and if you don't like his channel, don't watch. He's having fun with guns and knives, why do so many people hate and criticize a guy that's just having fun.

    Yes, he's a might long-winded.

However, I think he's got his place: I watched a bit of his stuff when I was just getting my feet wet with a lot of 'gun stuff'. You can only google so much, particularly when you're a total n00b with no idea of terminology. I'd rather people watch him then post up "AR vs AK" threads.

Now I really only follow Hitckok45 for the fun.

I've only watched his 10/22 video because I just bought one. I was surprised to see it was 30 mins long but I ended up watching the whole thing because of all the different topics he went over. Nothing groundbreaking but I thought he does a nice job with the presentation and editing and is easy to understand.
