    Typical costs to ship a firearm

    Say i sold or traded a firearm. It is california legal too. So how much should i expect to pay to recieve or ship this firearm? any ideas?

    I think Fed Ex usually charges $35 for overnight shipping.

      Rifles can be mailed to dealers which should be cheaper than fed ex. Mark

        They don't discount shipping for CA legal firearms, that's irrelevant. You can ship a long gun by USPS, no particular level of service is mandated by law, go to usps.com and run shipping calculator. You "could" ship for as little as $10 if you are comfortable with lowest level service.
        Handguns are supposed to ship by next day USPS or Fedex, will probably run you $40+ depending on the distance.
