Guns in Hawaii ?????

Anyone here take guns to Hawaii? What are the local rules, they looked alot strict, (Must be registered within 3 days and transport on to be used at range or shop).

Any help would be appreciated.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday when I found out I am going to hawaii for a week in a couple of months. First thing I did when I found out was text messaged my ex about it who just dumped me last week. Bet she is pissed now
I hear they have ARs there but no high caps. Would like to know what the laws are though but I did hear they are almost as strict as handguns go as kali.

- no handgun mags > 10rd.
- rifle mags > 10rd are legal.
- no awb.
- register your guns when you go there.

Thanks Rips31 for the info. I am 90% sure that I am going for work in late August for two months. I want to take my guns with me and check out the IPSC / USPSA matches.


Any further info or personal experience is appreciated.
