Questions about electronic headsete specs.

I just ordered an electronic headset. Based on the specs. in the description and features I think I'll be very satisfied.

I did find some other specs. that are rather techical at least for me. You may have to scroll down to the bottom of the link to see them.

but probably that doesn't tell you much more than the table.

It appears to show the noise reduction at specific frequencies; don't know how many trials it uses for the tests, but the mean NR is listed on the 'Mean' line, the standard deviation on the 'Std.dev' line, and APV is (Mean - Std Dev).

From what I've read, Sordins seem to be pretty good.

I copies and saved the pdf file you referenced. I looked at it briefly and it looked kind of technical to say the least. I'll try to read it entirely tonight.

I was thinking maybe part of that table meant it worked differently at different frequencies. If so qestion would be was are frequencies for gun shots? Are they different for all different due to different cartridges sizes or are they similar?

Hopefully that article will deal with frequencies person is exposed to from gunshot.

I bough 2 pairs of these, one for me, one for the wife, Ive used mine a few times and they are good to go, i have no complaints so far.
