    Looking for .22M

I'm looking for recommendations on a rifle or pistol that shoots .22M

My Uncle was burglarized last year and has 1,500 .22M rounds.

He's looking for something to fill the gap his Ruger revolver and 10/22M left.

Does anyone make a .22M Semi auto pistol?

AMT made a .22 Automag. I had one for a short time in the early 90's. It was cast stainless steel and roughly finished. Took a while to break in, but was OK after that. AMT unfortunately didn't have a great track record with their 45's or .30 Carbine pistol.

Marlin makes a good bolt action rifle and Henry makes a lever gun in 22M.As for handguns, Ruger makes their Supr Single Six revolvers with 22m cylinders. S&W makes a 2" revolver, but its really pricey.

I JUST sold my Automag II to a guy in Sac county. If you'd have been here two weeks ago, I would have driven to Alameda for you!

See if you can find one of the KelTec's that hold 30 rounds of .22mag! ...probably my next wishlist item...

Only 1500? That barely fills a weekend

Agreed. I so wish this gun was legal.

Lightweight and perfect for backpacking. hmmm..Probably no 10 rounders available so one would have to modify an existed 30 rounder. At around $300 it is very affordable. Might have to put it on the list..for an Interfamily transfer. hehe

Where are you seeing it for $300? I think the MSRP is $412 or something?

Sorry this is a newbie question. but im having a hard time understanding the roster of certified handguns for sale in ca law.

"Effective January 1, 2001, no handgun may be manufactured within California, imported into California for sale, lent, given, kept for sale, or offered/exposed for sale unless that handgun model has passed firing, safety, and drop tests and is certified for sale in California by the Department of Justice. Private party transfers, curio/relic handguns, certain single-action revolvers, and pawn/consignment returns are exempt from this requirement."

"privet party transfer" : Does that mean you can transfer a handgun thats not on the certifed list made before jan 1 ,2001? or does this mean u can have a family member in a state that the pmr-30 is legal, privet part transfer it into your name?

Simplifed. Could someone have a family member buy a pmr-30 with {no mag included}. and transfer ownership over to a family member in CA?
