Los Padres Forest-Target Shooting Ban Ended?

Last year Los Padres National Forest made a temporary ban for target shooting within the Pozo area that was to be 1 year long and it started Dec.19, 2009. Anybody out there know if this was renewed? The website does not show an update. Also just wanted to know if anyone was aware under what pretense this was established. Was there a public hearing/discussion?
