    COE,C&R and Waiting periods

I have my C&R plus COE. I have wondered why it is that I can Cash and Carry an M1911A1 Rem Rand on the Same Day but I cannot for a Kimber Custom Classic...I mean, It's just a .45 Right?

While I know the Laws on this, I was Wondering if anyone feels the same?

The Other is the Expemption code, I do not have a calif Handgun safety Card.
    I Instead have:

1.17yrs US Army as a Weapons Instuctor, I still have the Orders.
    2.COE with C&R FFL
    3.POST 832 Firearms

The C&R/COE is only for C&R, The Military means nothing cuz I ain't retired and POST 832 gets Challenged cuz some dealers say it is not Current.

While I may be forced someday to get the HSC, I would like to know why you have to be Retired from the Armed Forces to get an Exemption.
I can see Current Armed forces and NG, But once you leave the Military thats it?

I probably need to Post this in the CRPA Forum.....

Old guns are only good for hanging on the wall and can't hurt anyone, while new guns are only for hurting children until they are 10 days old....

Don't try to make sense of it, your head will just hurt.

    Yeah it seems pretty ridiculous.
