Fedex delivery exception

So I sent off my gun to Burwell at Burwell Gunsmithing yesterday for some work, and there was a delivery exception. On one line it says held at Fedex location for pickup, but two lines up about 30 minutes later, it says the package arrived after the courier already left. Does this mean that Dan Burwell actually has to go pick my gun up in person, or will they attempt to re-deliver?

Generally they will deliver it...if the package arrived after the courier left...he/she will pick it up later to deliver.

But I don't work for FedEx...and I don't usually actively track shippments and freak out when something pops up on the screen I don't understand.
