    LEOSA Range Qualification

I am looking for a someone or possibly a list of people who meet the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act of 2004 (LEOSA) definition of a person allowed to administer the requalification card to a retired officer.

According to the new wording, the card can be issued by the state similarly to a driver's license or by a certified firearms instructor (such as a range officer) who is "qualified to conduct firearms qualification tests for active duty officers."

Please let me know if you are able to perform the requalification or know someone who can and about how much it cost. I live in Santa Clara County so would prefer someone who lived in the area.

    Thanks!

No such "card" exists. The new wording means nothing.

I suggest you contact the range officers at the Santa Clara SO and ask them if they qualify retired LEO's from other departments / states.
    Poke'm with a stick!
