    Going over the border...

    Can i bring back lets say like a set of custom grips for a 1911? maybe a berral into the US? I was told its ok as long as its under $100? FUD? Point me to the right direction

    Wasnt there an ATF thing about importation of barrels? I may be wrong though. Grips shouldnt be an issue at all.

                  AFAIK...
                  If the imported barrel is for a NFA firearm or a non-sporting rifle/shotgun, then is is a no-go.
                  Barrel for everything else is good to go.

                    Are not firearms or firearm accessories not ILLEGAL to own or posses in mexico, without extremely special permission that must be documented, wait I'm talking about illegal, documentation & mexico it'll be fine

                        Barrells and grips are not considered firearms, but accessories, so could you not mail them from said non-US territory to yourself in the good ole US of A?

                            In some countries in the EU, the barrel/slide is the controlled part and not the receiver.
