    Air rifle suppresor/sound moderators

    Does any one have any experience with these devices? Are they legal in Ca? Do they carry the same restrictions as a suppresor or moderator for a firearm?

          They went so far as to shut down (removable) suppressors for paintball guns (something like 15 years ago now...). Just cause "it could be used on a real firearm."

              It is the suppressor itself that is illegal, the only ones allowed in the past were permanently attached to imported air rifles, even that is a gray area.
