You're probably aware of pending legislation that will effectively bring The Guide's ability to provide you with all calibers of handgun caliber ammo plus certain shooting-related items to a screeching halt.

California AB 962 is scheduled to go into effect February 1, 2011. I'm just reminding you of what's ahead, in case you want to stock up now.

Among other regulations, AB 962 will:

•Ban all mail-order and Internet sales of handgun ammunition
•Require drivers license and thumb print for purchase of ammo
•Require face to face transaction

Follow this link to get a look at big deals on ammo. Order by January 24 in order to ensure delivery prior to February 1, when the law goes into effect.

It stil amazes me that large companies such as the Sportsmans Guide are not actually reading the bill, and thus jumping to conclusions... Sad too because I purchase most of my rifle caliber ammo from them. I'm assuming most of the other large outdoor companies are doing the same, CTD, Cabelas, etc.
