Yeah. I was reading the history of it and although newer shotguns were intregated into the military, the Winchester M97 (the 1918 trench gun is the bayonet and heat shield model) has seen service up to the first golf war
Considering there are still some National Guard armories out there with M3 Grease guns, I wouldnt be suprised if there are still some M97s lying around still in service ATM
