Happened 2day in Orange. The cute Asian girl was helping me (trying) with my 30.06 fix but couldnt for her life get the right key for the lock on the door. Kept asking if I was in a hurry (nope). Finally zimzallabim the lock came off and she was relieved. I showed her what I wanted, 'just one' I said. She pulled the single box out, opened the end flap, pulled out (1) single cartridge ( it looked as if she was checking with me by the look of the cartridge if it was what I wanted, you know like sniffing the cork on some nice wine) proceeded to close the box up with the one cartridge in hand. I stopped her in mid closure and pointed to the whole box as in ONE. Didnt get mad, cute asian girl and all that that is, but I would have liked to see her scan the single unit and have me pay.

We don't have that problem when we raid the Milpitas Walmart. My dad and I end up just waddling out of there working out our arms with crapload of ammo. Fortunately theres two guys who actually know there way around the ammo counter.Happened 2day in Orange. This is why Walmarts don't sell guns anymore.... stupid f$$#*% idiots working in the sporting goods counter. Cute or not you can blame her.Originally posted by Alan GuraThe Second Amendment now applies to state and local governments. Maybe she was channeling a future DOJ ruling you can only purchase one cartridge a month.Comment

There is nothing like having a cute girl at the ammo counter at walmart. Remember one time last haloween at the walmart in Susanville, I wandered back to the ammo counter for some .45acp and was quite surprised and overjoyed to see the cutest little blond in her french maid outfit running the ammo counter. I wound up asking her to get some 9mm too simply because it was on the bottom shelf in the back

I go to the Orange store a lot. The two regular sporting goods guys are pretty damn good! We spent the Saturday before fathers day opening about half the knives in there case. Good times. They enjoy selling lots of ammo to a customer and have never asked me what it was for. They are true sales guys.
I do know of the Asian girl there too. She helped me a couple of weeks ago when the regular guys were out or on break. I knew where they kept the extra stash of Blazer Brass 45ACP. She bent over backwards to help me. Never batted an eye when I bought 20 boxes of it.Comment

lol, a friend of mine once told me when he went to a big5 when they had 9mm on sale, and he asked for 60. The person tried to explain to him that she couldn't sell him 10 round from a box in addition to a 50 round box, so he let that go on for a little bit before he clarified that he wanted 60 BOXES. They didn't even have that many in the store

I once asked a girl to pick up some 9mm @ Walmart for me.... just so happened she is there....
I told her, just buy ALL they have....
So she waited, and finally got someone to help her.... and she asked for "Winchester White Box 9mm 100rounds boxes".... and the guy looked around for a little while... and brought out like 1 or 2.... then asked my girl if that's enough.... and my girl told him that she wanted ALL they have.... and that really surprised the guy.... but eventually, they dug out 18 boxes... 1800 rounds...
And she ended up with a carry out... of those ammo to her car...
She is a petit asian girl too......

Quite a contrast with the WalMart & Fred Myers up in Oregon. Most of the guys I've met working there are pretty well informed. I guess I'd rather deal with them when I'm not sure of what I want and the cute girl when I know what I need.GOA Member & SAF Life MemberComment

The two Filipino gentlemen that man the sporting section at the Milpitas Walmart are pretty helpful. It has gotten to the point where, when I reach the counter, they ask "What is it today, .40, .45 or 223."
Once, ///D and I asked for all the .223 they had (which is normally 10 to 20 boxes). Low and behold, they pulled out about 100 or so boxes. Jackpot, we took them all.
Knowing is half the battle
