    37mm launchers

Not a fan at all but thought about something my old dad would get a kick out of. Anyone produce a 37mm m79? Would be cool for something like the cheeto round for my dad and me to fart around with.

    Here

It's not a traditional wooden stock M79, but it is a "stand alone" unit.

You could get this one, and mount it in a wooden stock. Sounds like a fun custom project.

Wait! Just found This one, (7th one down)

Wonder if it has the original style leaf sights.
Next question: Are cheeto rounds legal?

There's airsoft versions that take a pneumatic reloadable shell that fire a variety of projectiles (bbs, rubber balls, foam rocket, or even small Nerf footballs). They can be found for relatively cheap and legally.

I actually have one that I use to throw footballs

Shop Tokyo Marui, VFC, GHK and Krytac airsoft guns at eHobbyAsia — Asia's number 1 airsoft retailer since 2007. Electric AEGs, gas blowback rifles, CO2 pistols, tactical gear and upgrades. Ships worldwide from Hong Kong with customs compliance support.

This is the one I bought, same store. Shipping took about 5 days. It's all aluminum and wood. Only gripe is the front sight dovetail is kind of weak and I had to machine it on.

Sure. Shoot all the Cheetos you want out of that thing

Seriously though... I have no idea what "cheeto rounds" are. Logic tells me that if you were to shoot anything other than a signaling round (flare or smoke) you would be creating a destructive device. Similar to a potato gun, dry ice bomb, etc.

Cheeto Rounds (is what me and my buddies lovingly call them) are the blue training rounds for the M203. You load them, shoot them (THUMP) and when they hit something, magical orange dust makes a huge effing mess
Sucks that they wouldnt be legal. I'm losing interest all ready.

you catch a glimps of them in the beginning but they look kinda pink in the video. They are very very orange.

Chalk rounds should be good to go here.

The only reason they wouldn't be legal is because they are for 40mm launchers, and 40mm launchers are DD's and above the .60cal allowable in CA.

If you turned them down to 37mm, it would be legal to launch them in CA with a 37mm launcher.

Where can you even buy the flares at in person at a store? It'd be cool too if you can get ahold of smoke and CS rounds for it in person.

Hmmm, chalk round baseball. I suppose if you loaded them the same as baton rounds, you should be ok. You would have to put a bit of an arc on the round. I would say PPE is a must.
