Fud is generally the term used for BS, lies, crap, fiction, etc etc.

i.e.

"Me and my homie, walked into the gat store, to scope out them new glocks, the foo in their said that some crazy new law about registering my stash was going to happen."

Translation =
"I walked into the gun store with a friend, to check out the next generation glocks. During the conversation, one of the store Employees was spreading FUD about micro stamping ammo."
