Gun scrubber - still synthetic safe?

The first time I bought a can of Gun Scrubber there were two formulas - Synthetic Safe and...uh...I guess Synthetic Unsafe?

Well, I knew I was out so when I was done shooting at Reed's tonight I decide I should pick up a can and they only had one kind and it didn't say "synthetic safe" anymore, but it looks like they may only have one formula now anyway? Looking up the UPC code on the can gives me "synthetic safe" but it doesn't say it on the can specifically.

P.S. I also picked up a can of "Gunslick Pro Foaming Bore Cleaner" - anyone use this before? Any good? (Guess we'll find out.)

Been using Gun Scrubber on ALL of my guns....wood stocks, plastic, alloy etc... Works on ALL of them. It's safe, regardless of their label of "synthetic safe" or not.

Actually the non synthetic gunscrubber will discolor ruger polymer frames. Other than my polymer rugers I just use brake cleaner instead of gunscrubber. It works just as good and is alot cheaper. Mark

Well, it didn't do anything to the plastic, and since there's only one formula now I'm gonna assume it's all the same - the part number matched up with the one that says "synthetic safe".

And that bore cleaning foam was pretty damn magical. I'm a fan now.

I never had any issues using Gun Scrubber. My only thing is that it's a little expensive. Beside that you not soaking the gun in it for long periods anyway.
