    Ar pistol... Yes I looked..

I had a buddy who says he thinks on a ar pistol you need to perm. attach the flash hider or muzzle break..
I told him no just need to have a BB and 10 round mag or less... Its late but he is here.. can you tell me that I am the king? Thanks

You are indeed the king in this case. There is no requirement to permanently attach the flash hider or muzzle brake on an AR pistol. Your buddy is probably thinking about the requirement to permanently attach devices used to extend a <16" barrel for legal installation on a long gun.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Aren't threaded pistol barrels a no-go here in CA? Permanently attaching a muzzle device would take care of that.
"Are you bringing in any weapons?"
      "Of course not!"
      "You're not changing anything."

Check the CA Handgun AW Flowchart. A threaded barrel is only a no-go if the handgun has detachable magazines. As the OP stated, with a mag lock device and 10 round magazines, there's no need for a permanently attached muzzle device.

I'm off to pick mine up from jail today. Had to tell someone.
There are no great men. Just great challenges which ordinary men, out of necessity, are forced by circumstance to meet.

Ah so. Thanks. Been awhile since I'd looked over the pistol flowchart.
