2h upper and LPK on a High-Standard (HSA-15) lower, which is manufactured by Continental Machine Tool, who also makes Stag's lowers, so I guess you "could" say it's all Stag.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

CMMG is fine for uppers IMHO. My threads were good. The upper isnt warped, it doesnt flake and the anodizing is thick and proper. matches the stag lower nearly perfact after a few months.Comment

there was nothing wrong with them. You are correct both are due to be changed out. I will change them with Colt parts soon.
I considered the springs and pins more important so they got changed out firstComment

Had a Stag lower, purchased from a Calgunner with no upper to go with it. When the M4Store advertised 0H uppers for $445, I bought one. Makes a good basic featureless rifle and cost quite a bit less than Stag MSRP when it was all said and done. Not a fanboy, but they make decent (although not top of the line) gear.I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!Comment
