LEO selling gun w/ high cap mags to Non-LEO

Hey everybody, I want to put my glock 19 up for sale on here but I have the 15 round mags and also a 33 round mag. I want to confirm that I can legally sell a gun w/ high cap mags to civilians before I post up the ad.

You cannot sell the assembled high cap mags but you can sell the mags disassembled.

It is legal to sell/give mag parts kits. So take the mags apart and you and the buyer are good to go.

The only people allowed to sell high capacity magazines to civilians are Armored Car Company Owners and Managers. Everyone else can only sell rebuild kits or parts...even LEO.

So..........what kind of LEO are you, if you don't deal with the penal code?

Don't rag on the OP here guys. He did the right thing asking for advice. Like someone else said, not possible to know all the laws. But its the mark of a good LEO that asks when they don't know rather than the alternative IMO. I'd much rather run into one that doesn't know but checks first instead of the let the courts sort it out attitude.

Incidentally, LEO's are civilians too. Just FYI.
