I just started a 2nd 10day wait will probably have a 3rd soon. Sometimes I've had 15+day waits because I didn't have time to go on 10th day. I've had 100 day waits when having to process multiple non ppt exempt handguns at one time. The 3rd gun I bought not going thru dros for over 90 days.

Actually if the gun isn't in stock and it has to be ordered, your looking at 3 trips to the gun store.

1) to order and make deposit
2) gun arrives, fill out DROS
3) pick up gun

Ten day waiting period is so stupid! If you already own guns, why the 10 day cooling off period. You own a gun and want to trade me your gun for mine, why the cooling off period. This is one of the many dumb laws in California. I can understand the State charging the $25 dros fee (nice way to take more of our hard earned money), but the 10 day waiting period doesn't earn them any money, just plain stupidy!

The 10 day waiting period is absolutely lame. I'm currently 3 days into my 10 day wait for a handgun.

What's even worse is that I found another handgun I want to buy but will have to wait because of the stupid one handgun every 30 days.
