Shooting practice, how often

I used to go a couple times a week, but job is getting in the way of that. I have a membership to an indoor range that I get to about once every week or every other week and it keeps me on my toes. I usually bring 2-3 guns, and make sure I try to cycle them all which also keeps me in the habit of cleaning things properly too.

I go 2 to 3 times a week to practice. I also go twice a month to shoot in Practial weapons matches. I have my ccw so I want to be sure if I have to ever use it, I hit the bad guy, not the innocent bystander. I know lots of people with ccw permits that never practice.

Usually twice a week if the weather doesn't suck
But it's been rainy lately so today is the first time I've been out for over a week.

70 rounds through the XD9 today (40 left handed and 30 right handed) and a whole lot of 22LR through the T/C.

Spousal unit and I try to burn about 200 rounds per week each. I miss the old days tho, when I was in my teens when I used to be able to do that much per day training.

I've had a couple of Grand Masters teach me about effective practice.

If you are willing to dry fire with focus every other day, you'll only need to go to the range for live fire once a month...and that's only to confirm you're dry firing correctly
