    I think Walmart sells 7.62x39 for $3.99/20. My '53 Soviet likes it just fine and it tickles me that the carbine and ammo came from the same factory.

      ive seen the "TULA" branded box and I have also seen the "TUL"

      are they the same?

            The ammo is "Tula" Ammo. The "A" in the middle stands for the "A" in "Tula" and also the "A" in "Ammo."

              The TulAmmo site redirects to Wolf. As I understand it, Wolf is not a manufacturer but rather an export company. Some Wolf branded ammo isn't even from Russia. I'm assuming that since Tul-Ammo is based in Tula it is actually being manufactured by TOZ.
