Bummer. This has been around awhile. Still amazes me, the guy was not seriously hurt.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Is this the video that Mythbusters tried to solve on whether or not a barrel can do the banana split?

Not Mythbusters, but it is a split barrel. I think it's an advertisement for muzzle condoms.

This video always looked fake to me. why is the camera operator fixated on the rifle and not what the guy is shooting at?

and then he stays fixated on the barrel instead of his friend after the KB.

I agree, and why does the camera man pan down and hold on the rifle? is this what someone does in that type of situation?

                      He should have used Bore-Tex!

Seriously though, this is not the first kB! image I've seen where a barrel split like that. Don't take Mythbusters as definitive proof of anything.

I thought that was a rule of life. Never stick your "gun in the dirt" or the barrel of your rifle. And by "gun" I don't mean a firearm.
