Is America a better place free of gun violence thanks to the Brady bill? lol NO! obviously.......

Needs some modifications

The Brady Bill should have been a way to roll back the 1968 requirement of only receiving guns in your state of residence. With a National check, we should be able to verify anywhere in the USA our good-guy status and buy a gun.

The madness doesn't or didn't stop there. They should've packed up and called it quits after that. There's no such thing as sensible gun laws. They're all about making it a hassle to own a gun and making the hobby of guns unattractive because of that. Imagine if we had to go through a pile of bureaucracy just to get 1 gun(worse than it is today in CA) tons of people with busy lives would be lured away. That's what they're are all about.
