    Shotgun choice

I am very torn. My neighbor is selling his mossberg 590 barely used with a laser sight forend. I have the blackhawk stock for it with the recoil reduction system.

On the other hand I have always wanted a Benelli m4 tactical. I know people would say get both, but I really only want one shotgun.

The difference in price is about 1000 dollars, but I want one, do it all reliable shotgun.

I'm trying to think of it this way, If SHTF and I get called from home to go to work, I am going to grab a shotgun to take with me in my ride.

If you had a choice between a mossberg 590 described as above, or a Benelli to grab, which one would you grab?

Whatever one I had would work fine.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

there is nothing wrong with the 590 you could save the rest of the money and practice practice practice and buy a handgun on the side for when shtf

I'd be more pleased with the Benelli. It's much sexier.
