    Alexander Arms

I had some minor trouble with my .50 Beowulf 10 rounds mags, basically the follower sticking. So today I called Alexander Arms to ask about it. The person who answered said she would transfer me to a tech, and in a minute a guy comes on the line, explains what the issue was (which is what I already suspected) and gave me a possible fix. He also said if it was too much trouble or it didn't work I could send send them back and he would send me some new ones that he personally would make sure worked properly. Keep in mind I did not even buy the mags directly from AA.

I thought that was very cool, and the guy was very nice and professional about it. So then I ask the "tech" his name, so I can ask for him if I need to send them back. He says "Bill Alexander". I'm like ....no $**T?!? Then we have a half hour conversation about his guns, magazines in general, and a bunch of other cool stuff. This is a stand up guy, very smart, and he cares quite a bit about his products. Anyways, coolest thing to happen to me in awhile, and I just thought I'd share that. I think it's fair to say you can buy his products with confidence.

I didn't have any trouble finding any. I plan on reloading myself anyway.

They have a new loading machine and are finally shipping ammo backorders. I recently got mine about ten months after I ordered

Yeah it seems like most places are accepting backorder now and shipping as it arrives. FYI alamoammo.com has it in stock, it's like $6 over the big sites... but it's in stock. $6 for instant (almost) gratification didn't bother me.

Yeah, I had the same experience. Called them right before I purchased mine through Cabellas....asked to speak to a tech, lo and behold Bill gets on the phone to answer a bunch of newbie questions. He's a good guy.

He's pretty well known for answering his own phones. I wish I hadn't sold my Beowulf upper to fund the (now) ex-wifes habits!
