    indoor shooting range

Why do most indoor shooting ranges have crappy lighting? Even though all my guns have night sight, but i still can't see a thing.

      1) utilities will be passed onto the consumer
      2) the fluorescent and standard lighting is hidden behind plates and the few lights that places do have, get shattered regularly from fragmentation on the target frames or during the days when indoor plate match comps are held.

yup, when you go to an indoor range and some prick is nailing the hanger over and over, while yukking it up with his friends. That prick is cutting down the quality of the range for everyone. Generally the first 12 feet are going to be solid ceiling of steel plate, look for all the hits, you can't put lights in that area.
