I'll be picking up a new 9mm next week. Though I do reloading for the more seasoned ones, does it really matter what I put thru a new barrel. If so lead or fmj. Or does that not matter either?

No, unless it's a Glock. -
Doesn't matter. Just don't load any higher than is safe for the gun you're using. And per what the other guy said, don't put lead through the standard factory Glock barrel.

Well I dont have to worry about that. I'll be picking up a Sig 226. Why are the Glocks so sensitive to lead?"One Useless Man is a Shame. Two are a Law firm. Three or More are a Congress".

Is that good or bad for the Glock owners which make it more restrictive as what they can shoot? Dont know too much about the Glocks. What I did find out because of the lighter poly frames the recoil spring is different design to lighten up the recoil like a double spring I guess. I am not really much of a fan of the poly type, non hammer frames yet.
I guess thats why my search was restricted to Sig, Beretta or HK. I bought the Sig. Old school."One Useless Man is a Shame. Two are a Law firm. Three or More are a Congress".
