    Is there something missing in online firearms stores?

    TO ALL:

    2 questions -
    1. I am considering an online, firearms related products store, but like any good business man, I want to know what it is that you'd want to see in my store that you do not typically see on other stores. Post a reply your DREAM SHOPPING list.
    2. Also, what about a CALIFORNIA ONLY store that sells primarily to California shooters and carrys all CALIFORNIA OK parts, firearms, etc.?
    Thanks!

    A FFL network would be nice. Like how CWS has.

    I'd like a site where you add whatever gun to your cart and then input your zip and find a closest FFL. The gun gets shipped there, and the buyer receives an email when it arrives.

      Interesting thought.

      TO ALL: Would you want to have FFL's agree to a fee range, or fixed fees so you could count on what the costs would be for transfers, etc.? Or, maybe the system could give you top 3 or 5 FFL's nearby and their fees so you could choose?
      Thanks!

        I think it would be difficult to get FFL's to submit to an imposed maximum transfer fee, but it would be nice to give an option and transparent transfer prices so that the market could do it's job.

          Maybe an exchange with the FFL's ??;
          FFL gives discounted transfer fee rates if buyer gives code from the network in exchange for free banner ads on the shop's web site

          Just a thought... whaddayathink?
          Thanks!

            Sounds like http://www.galleryofguns.com/
            Depending on which FFL you choose you'll get a different price. Their prices used to be better and you'll probably find a better price buying online and dealing with a local ffl on your own.

              Ah, good point... what if it was California only? Is there a market?
              Thanks!
