Moving back to Ca with weapons.

First off, i am Active Duty Military currently serving my second tour in Iraq so i apologize for not having to much time or the internet speed to "Search" for the answers to my questions. Anyways, I will be ending my time in service upon redeployment back to the States and will be moving back to California. I have acquired some nice weapons while being stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia (awesome gun laws) but aren't too savy on CA's gun laws. so, here we go!

1. I have a DPMS Panther LR-308 AP4. The only things i have to do to make it CA compliant is buy a new lower reciever (POF probably) and install a Bullet-Buttom and run 10rd mags, correct?

2. I also have a FN FNP-40 that is Faded Dark Earth color and i noticed its not on the DOJ handgun list? Is it legal in CA? (i have 10rd mags for it)

3. I REALLY want a FN FNP-45 Tactical, would that be legal in CA?

Once again, i apologoze. But any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to elaborate on some of Milsurp Collector's answers.

1. You're correct.

2. You can bring any non-"assault weapon" configured handgun with you back to CA. Be sure to register them by submit a New Resident Handgun Ownership Report and a $19 fee per handgun to the CA DOJ. The CA Safe Handgun List does not apply to handguns moved to CA from out-of-state.

3. You can remove the threaded barrel and replace it with a non-threaded barrel and bring the FNP45 and the threaded barrel with you to CA. Do not put the threaded barrel back into the FNP45 while you're in CA. Store it in your safe and save it for when you leave the state to go shooting. Be sure to register the handgun by following the steps outlined in #2.
