Whats up with sigforum.com? How come I can't register with a gmail or yahoo account?

They require a "non-free" type of e-mail address in an effort to reduce the number of spammers. It took me forever to get approved, maybe someone who's more active there can help you out.

Did you check your spam folder?

IIRC, the confirmation email was sent to me immediately after registering. After I confirmed the registration, it took about a month for an admin to confirm my registration.

RimfireCentral is the same. They will not allow automatic registration from "free" email accounts. You have to send a message to a mod then wait for contact/approval. They said they do it to cut down on spammers.
