    Buying Handgun Online

Hello, newbie here and looking to buy my first firearm. Found some places online, but was not able to find any reviews about them (via google or forum search). I would really hate to run into any issues or be ripped off and I would really appreciate it if any of the Calgun members could chime in with their experiences with purchasing from any of the following sites:

    http://aeonarms.com/catalog/ located in TX
    http://www.thegunfever.com/ location unknown
    http://www.denverammo.com/ located in CO

    Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the places you listed, but many here like Buds Gun Shop.

But make sure you have your accepting FFL squared away and what his/her total charges will be, often after you add in the receiving ffls fees, remember they can charge you what ever they want for this service, and some will and some will not collect local sales tax also, often your better off buying from your local FFL, and it's alwasy nice to support the local shops any ways, but if your going to save allot of money, then go for it.

4,000,000+ customers since 2003. Buy guns for sale online. Shotguns, pistols, revolvers, rifles & muzzleloaders (Firearms ship to FFL only.)

What firearm are you looking for? and remember it has to be on the California approved roster.

      Hi Brian,
Thanks for the tip. I have really been eyeing the Steyr M-A1. I tried local FFL's but none seem to have it. I also checked Buds Gun Shop, however, theirs is packaged with two 12 Round mags, so I can not purchase from there .

      Edit:
As for the FFL fees, I found StraightLine Tactical, which is near my area and they said the total would be $50 for the transfer. From some of the prices I've seen people list here, I thought it was pretty reasonable.

$50 for the transfer is about as cheap as it gets, does that include the DROS? many places are $50 + DROS of $25, that's still a good deal, they will say fifty for the transfer, but often that does not include the DROS, either way, $50 or $75 is good.

Yes others here can chime in on places that are Cali friendly and are willing to ship without mags , with mags disassembled or will substitute ten rounders, I normally buy locally, well 90 miles away, so I don't know much about buying on line, have you asked locally? my dealer can get just about any thing I want within 3-4 days from order.
