yeah. I was thinking about making my own just for ****s and giggles. I've heard silver is almost the same as lead and softer so its not good for the barrel. Boy was that info wrong. If someone could make a mould that generated heat and could handle extremely high temps as well as it be over sized for silver specifically, it would be cool as hell because it would make it far easier. Think of all the silver AK rounds you could sell to p-diddy or the like
Wonder if anyone has tried a golden bullet... though that would be way too expensive

All that was covered in the article. It was a pretty good read and also had scanned pages from an old hand gun mag that made a comical article about the loan ranger. How silver buckshot would be far easier than casting a silver bullet. It goes into how to make it using a screen, water, and silver. Also asked the "what if" if you were to melt some lead and filed silver into it. It wouldnt be pretty but would it be enough?
I wouldnt want to go the shotgun route. I've seen a video somewhere where dimes are ineffective and dont penetrate for beans, also a big hulking warewolf with a ton a muscle probably will stop a lot of buck. Now a silver 1oz slug...
*edit* I just saw the "glue" part. Would glue hold? What about just gluing one on top of a slug?

Isn't that a tin bullet with silver impurities?

I would think a silver jacket would do the job. Then you could use the same process as copper jackets.

So silver closed at $27.76. At 437.5 grains per ounce a 158 gr. 357 magnum silver bullet would cost you $10 just for the silver.
