Your home defence situation. (Need Help)

Please only post if you have experienced being in a situation (such as burglary, attempted murder, etc) where you were in your home and having a firearm had saved you or your family.

Hey guys I am not sure if this is the appropriate section for the thread but I am currently doing a college persuasive speech and one of the requirements is have sort of an outside real source.
My speech is on having firearms for home safety and if you have ever had a situation where you had to use your firearm or even just a situation where you revealed the firearm and scared off the intruder that works too!

Please post your story and answer some of the simple questions.
Also I will need you to be willing to give me your email just in case my teacher needs to contact for proof. (No phone numbers and addresses please.) Also she may not even contact you at all.

    Questions:
    Where did it took place.
    Who was involved?
Were you or your family threatened?
What was your side of the story? Give me a little detail of the situation.
How did you feel at that time? (Were you scared? Or did you realize what was going on and took charge)
Lastly the outcome of it all. Hopefully it wasn't tragic for your side.

Again this is a persuasive speech for my class so help me to help others in my class to be informed and persuaded to buy more guns and help what we are doing!

I'm not sure if your professor will like stories from people on an internet forum as a source, even if it is just a speech.

You can check out the NRA armed citizen articles for a reference:
Established in 1975, the Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) is the "lobbying" arm of the National Rifle Association of America. ILA is responsible for preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals in the legislative, political, and legal arenas, to purchase, possess and use firearms for legitimate purposes as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Also if you can find an archived version of http://thearmedcitizen.com/ before they removed their blog posts due to a lawsuit there was basically a self defense story on there every day.

    Good luck with the speech.
The capitalist economic model is fundamentally flawed. It is not self sustaining, and can only maintain itself with constant growth. Obviously infinite growth is impossible, so the question is not whether the economy will collapse, but when.

Get your guns, ammo, and food while the stores still stock them. Prepare yourself now, because when the meltdown comes it will be too late.

Will a second hand story work?

      Here it is anyhow:

I was talking to this convict in a "program". He was in a wheel chair. I asked him what happened. He told me he and a friend went to collect a debt. They stood at the front door where the debtor lived. The friend said some things the debtor didn't like. The debtor produced a 9mm loaded with, you guessed it, Black Talons. He fired twice, striking my guy center of mass. My guy fell to the ground, paralyzed. My guy was convicted of Burglary and Robbery. The debtor was not charged. I dunno what happened to the friend, and I'm sure my guy left out some details.

So three turds have a disagreement, but one has home advantage. Move to Orange County, folks, I highly recommend it.

Be fore I respond to your request, I'd need to know what "class" you are in and what the agenda of the teacher is. It is pointless to provide real world accounts of the scenarios you seek if your teacher is going to immediately label you a "gun nut" and fail you because she doesn't like what she hears.

What school? What grade level? Grammar school, high school or college? What class, specifically, is this paper for? Sociology? Some pinko "Social Diversity" indoctrination?

Give us more details, and you might get the information you seek. No one wants to give ammunition to a rabid gun grabbing tenured "educator."

The teacher has no agenda. I am not gonna be graded mainly on my points but more of how my speech is organized. The class is a speech class so its focused on how the presentation is given not what it is about. This is for college and the class is Speech 1. I did a recent speech on guns and the teacher took that subject quiet well.
