    Amoo Bros. vs Turners

So I just moved to the IE a month ago and I had never been to Ammo Bros. so I wanted to check them out. I was greeted by everyone in the store at some point and they were all very friendly. I eventually ended up dealing with someone named Charles. Now this is what they call service! He took the time to make sure I saw everything I was interested in, he answered every question I had and made sure I was satisfied with everything I came there for. I ended up buying some HD and practice ammo in .38 spl. That was Monday.

So today I thought I would check out the new Turners in Rancho. Now I know you all have heard all the good and bad about them, and I must say that dealing with them can be a challenge. Only after getting to know some of the guys at the WC store did it become pleasant experience on a regular basis. Here we go, I guess I would have to start all over again creating a new relationship to make it pleasant to go to the Rancho Turners. They were not rude, just not helpful, not friendly and acted like I was putting them out to ask a simple question. It's like dating a new girl, you don't no if it's going to be a rejection and a claim of inappropriate touching, or a friendly wink and a go ahead. Well I haven't had to go dating in a long time and I'm not ready to start again. They just don't get it. I don't think I'll be getting past first base with them any time soon. Their loss.

    So Ammo Bros.

    Turners

In the last few months I have been to two stores that have treated me better than any other gun shops in over twenty five years. Thumbs up to Ammo Bros. and Alamo Jewelry & Loan in WC. Both close to Turners locations.

BTW, Charles at Ammo Bros. say they are expanding, taking over the store next to them and will soon be the biggest gun store in SoCal.

I too have had nothing but great experience with Ammo Bros in Ontario. I feel pretty much the same way about Turners. They were never rude, but just kind of did the minimum to get buy it seems like.

I'm not a big fan of Ammo Bros., but compared to Turner's... I'd go with Ammo Bros. any day!

I heard about the Ammo Bros over the radio yesterday and decided to check 'em out as they are on one of my main routes. I fear I'll be spending way too much there in the near future! I've never had a problem with Turners. Employees were helpful and didn't have an attitude.
With all this "gun control" talk, I've not heard one politician say how they plan on taking guns from criminals, just law abiding Citizens.

I've been going to Turner's Norwalk for many years and have bought dozens of guns from them. Sure their have been some employees that were challengeing, but as a whole it has always been a pleasant experience.

Ammo Bros. in Cerritos is top notch as well, have not been going as long as Turner's but, the service received is second to none. I guess I'm just lucky to have two great stores close by. Ed

I like Ammo Bros, too. Turners are decent as well. I've done a number of PPT there and purchased some guns. Their weekly sales often have good deals. But for CA's socialist taxes, Turners sale prices are often quite competitive even compared to online retailers.

I'm going to check out Ammo Bro's Red Tag sale this weekend.

I love Ammo bros. Charles is the man. I've been hoon there mainly since they open that location. Very very friendly staff. Have bought 6 guns from them this year. And they are willing to price match any gun store in kali

Hmm. Maybe the staff at the Norwalk, Signal Hill, West Covina, and Orange Turner's locations know me by sight (as well as the Ammo Bros staff) as someone who likes to window shop frequently but seldom buys guns - because i seem to get "lukewarm" service in most of those places. Good at times, and bad at others, lots depending on the number of other customers there, but I've been in almost all of these stores at times when it seemed like there was more staff than customers in the store and I still had to wait to be served.

What ever happened to the big brown haired guy at Norwalk Turners, I think his name was Mas?

He has been there forever, but I haven't seen him in a while.
