looks like a Kaboom. I'm thinking maybe there's a round that was overloaded. Or maybe a round that was underloaded that got stuck in thebarrel, then when he tried to shoot again it Kaboomed.

The mag blew out the bottom. He was having a bit of trouble before that happened so maybe something was jammed in there.

Agreed. I never shoot anybody else's, and I would never give anybody else my reloads to shoot either.

It's kinda like parachuting, to me, even though I've never done it... Everybody ought to be responsible for packing their own chute -- that way there's nobody else to blame if something goes wrong.

No squibs or double-charges for me, yet. (looking for some wood to knock on)

The magazine is supposed to blow out the magwell, that's a good thing. Could have been many different types of malfunction, but the shooter is lucky the rifle performed as designed and didn't actually blow up in his face the way you guys suggest.

It looked like he was having issues with getting the cartridge to seat properly, maby he had a burr in the chamber? or his bolt wasn't assembled properly?

I like how when he loaded the second mag, he hit the forward assist then
