    Ade's in Orange

Just a quick note about Ade's...I had a Stag lower and buttstock shipped there. I picked it up today. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I thought I would get there just as he opened so I could get in and out....there were 6 people already waiting at the door for him!

I highly recommend him for all of you OLL needs. If you wanted to know, he charges $45.00 for the out of state transfer and $25.00 for the DROS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

To make it even more cost effective, do a second lower on the same DROS, and he only charges an additional $15 bucks.

    One lower = $25 DROS + $45 Transfer = $70 per firearm
    Two lowers = $25 DROS + $60 Transfer = $42.50 per firearm

Ade's is a great place. But, you should expect to have a little bit of a wait if you plan on going down there. It's only him and Greg, so give yourself anywhere from 20-45 minutes, depending on what you are doing (i.e. buying ammo, or doing a transfer).

Overall, they are my favorite outfit. Friendly and nice to work with.

Would be nicer if he returned calls.

I wish people would stop calling him.

The first time and the only time I called him, he was really polite, informative, and took the time to explain things over the phone. When I visited him at the store, he was so busy that I felt guilty for even calling him.

His shop is virtually a one man operation. Every time I'm there, he get's no less than one call every minute, and he answers every one! He's often multi-tasking... starting a DROS on one customer, wrapping up a pick-up with another, and unlocking rifles off the rack for a lookeeloo. All this while me and 4 other customers are waiting for various services from him.

He is a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, busy man. But he never breaks a sweat and he never gets impatient. The guy has the demeanor of a saint. If I was in his shoes, I would have flipped out like a rabid bat, threw half the customers out the door, and smashed the phone into tiny pieces. And that's why I'll never succeed in retail.

He has always returned all my phone calls, no matter the odd hours. Note he did have some phone problem between the move between the old shop to the one next door.

That said, his shop is FULL CAPACITY with at least a 30 minutes wait from the moment he opens till the moment he closes every single day that he is open. Don't believe me? Show up on a random weekday at 3pm and be amazed at how many people seemingly do not have jobs or can take amazingly long lunches. A new person might get annoyed at the long wait, but any of the regulars who have done business with him gladly hangs around and wait.

When you do call him be mindful that the man is more busy than any Turner's, which has 10 times the employees per store, 10 times as large and have 1/10th of the customer.

Ade's = Mr. Roger with GUNS!!!!!!!
