    Wondering about ffl transfers?

Hey guys I live in pittsburg. I was wondering where you guys go for ffl transfers in the east bay? I've called a few places and the cheapest I found was around 60. Anyone else here know anyone that does it for cheaper? Just curious because seems like a lot of places vary by alot

$60 is pretty cheap. You might find $50 if you look some more, might not.

Plenty of places charge $100 or $120.

Does the $60 include DROS or $60 + DROS?

DROS stands for Dealer's Record of Sale.
It is the registration fee that goes to DOJ which is $25.

Are you looking for an FFL to have a firearm shipped to?

DROS = Dealer Record of Sale

The paperwork an FFL must file with the state and keep in the store records in order to complete a transfer. Hey, what's the state fee for the DROS again?

So the dealer will charge for his services and also collect the state DROS fee.

                Oooops! Simulpost.

My dealer is $45 with dros included

California derringer in san mateo if you need to order a firearm from online or transfer from an ffl.

They don't really have guns in stock, but can order whatever.

That's the best price that I've heard. Thanks for sharing.

Yes thank you for sharing 45 is a great deal but I'm probably gonna go with the one for 60 closer to me unless it's more fees since San Mateo is like a hour drive lol

Try City Arms East in Pleasant Hill.

                          I think they are $75 out-the-door.
