How much does a drop in .22 conversion weigh?

This may seem like a silly question, but indulge me.

How much does a cienner or other drop in conversion kit weigh (in ounces)

    Which is the lightest?

    Is the chamber insert riffled?

    Thanks

Those conversion kits all have aluminum slides, so they're pretty light. Not sure what you mean by chamber insert, though. I have a kimber conversion kit and I'm pretty happy with it. Get whichever one you want, but even with the aluminum slide you can really tell that the slide is moving super slow.

CMMG kit weight 10.25 oz. , chamber insert does not appear to be rifled.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

the OP is probably talking about a .22 drop-in conversion kit for an AR15-type rifle, not a .22lr replacement top-end for a pistol like a 1911.

Yes, i was refering to the ar15 conversion,

10.25 may be a little heavy...

The cmmg kit is more robust than te cienner though isn't it?

My only experiences have been with the colt brand drop in, the cobray drop in, an the airforce 261...

If I'm remembering correctly the cienner uses a bunch of stamped components to reduce weight.
